About

WHY

form follows you lays the focus on the people co-creating our built environment. Every valuable opinion deserves to be listened to. Against this background we, Martin Dennemark, Max Rudolph and Benedikt Wannemacher founded our office in 2016. We are specialised on design strategies and communication methods to ease negotiation between different stakeholders. Following the motto, planning with less effort for more effective negotiation, we develop user-friendly design tools.

WHAT

Every project is being individually developed in an iterative process of analysis, negotiation and planning. In contact with involved stakeholders, we collect and analyse context- and project specific data and gain an overview on the relevant topics to discuss. According to these demands, we develop communication tools that facilitate simple and convenient negotiation of the topics. Visualisation and interaction with various design scenarios enables informed assessment of each planning step. With a flexible and adaptive framework in the background of the negotiation process, planning can happen next to it.

HOW

Our custom-made communication tools allow us to utilise data efficiently in all negotiation- and planning steps. By enriching the design options with information of different professions and making them intuitively accessible, we build bridges between experts and non-experts. One conceivable solution would be a user-friendly architecture-software that playfully visualises complex spatial relations on a smartphone or VR-headset. Rule-sets ensure the feasibility of necessary planning steps through Building Information Modelling. Our workflows enable a seamless communication of decision- and planning processes. By utilising the digital and analogue, game and planning, we connect the seemingly opposite, so that form follows you.
